A backlight level of Smarther is on maxim valuw when it's used localy. When Smarther is in StandBy Mode a backlight level of Smarther is auto adapt to the level of light present into a room with dedicated algorithm (well visible during the day and do not bother at night). It's possible set by App on smartphone (thermostat display settings menu) a backlight level always off or also o a custom value.
