WARNING: A drawer must consist of batteries of the same brand and with the same manufacturing date. The Keor MOD RI 25 model can include two internal battery drawers, while the Keor MOD RI 50 model can include four internal battery drawers. Each battery string consists of two drawers. There must be at least 1 KB (battery kit) for every 25 kVA of nominal UPS power. For internal battery drawers and external modular battery units, 1 KB consists of 2 battery drawers. During installation, it is necessary to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. Each drawer consists of four battery blocks containing four batteries and two battery blocks containing three batteries. Add two battery blocks containing three batteries to a drawer and connect them in series using the provided cable, respecting the polarity (connect a positive terminal to a negative terminal). Move the two battery blocks containing three batteries to the back of the drawer. Add two battery blocks containing four batteries and connect each of them in series to those already present in the drawer using one of the short cables, respecting the polarity (connect a positive terminal to a negative terminal). Add two more battery blocks containing four batteries and connect each of them in series to the other two already present in the drawer using one of the short cables, respecting the polarity (connect a positive terminal to a negative terminal). Connect the free terminals of the two batteries, located near the drawer handle, to the cables connected to the back of the drawer. Verify the correct polarity of the entire wiring. The cables must not protrude from the drawer mounts to avoid cuts during insertion into the cabinet. Follow the same procedure to fill the second drawer. When the two drawers are ready, push them into the UPS cabinet until they are flush and secure them with the four screws included in the battery kit.
