The red led may means: MICROPHONE OFF, Alexa Voice Control does not detect the Wake Word, or ERRORS: following a request of the user, the LED coming on indicates that an error (system error, Alexa service not available, Wi-Fi not available) is preventing Alexa Voice Control from answering.
